We just wanted to get some preliminary info out there because we’ve been getting emails asking if a showcase would be happening this year.
The answer is yes, we’ll be having the Youngblood 2009 Showcase Saturday October 10th. Same place as always: The Champion Ship in Lemoyne, PA.
We’re firming up the line up right now but it’s looking VERY good. Stay tuned for complete info!

The updates have been very sparse lately but check back next week for an update. We have three new releases in production which will be seeing the light of day soon.
Actually it’s been sold out for many weeks now. The second pressing is at the plant and is scheduled to be pressed tomorrow, February 5th.
Our exclusive distro REVHQ might have copies as soon as Monday or Tuesday of next week. We’ll have copies at YBHQ later in the week most likely. We’ll have limited red vinyl copies available for the store!
As with most Youngblood releases, it’s been a long time coming but we’re extremely excited to announce that we will be working with
React! Records to release the vinyl version of Carry On “It’s All Our Blood” on 12″ LP format. Countless times over the years we’ve gotten requests for this release on wax so it’s excellent to finally have this in the works.
For the uninitiated, Carry On hailed from Southern California and played blisteringly fast and aggressive hardcore. They were an intense and arrogant straight edge band who made a huge impact everywhere they played. Calling them the one of the most influential hardcore bands of this decade isn’t far fetched by any account.
Additionally, Carry On were absolutely key in the growth of Youngblood Records so we are grateful to work with them once again.
“It’s All Our Blood” features the “Roll With The Punches” and “The Line Is Drawn” EPs along with Carry On’s track from the “Memories Of Tomorrow Hardcore Compilation” (Youngblood). Available for years only as a CD, it will be awesome to hear “It’s All Our Blood” in glorious analog.
This will be a one time only pressing with each label having one exclusive color and then a black vinyl version as well.
It’s great to be working with React!; the best up-and-coming label around. If you haven’t heard anything on React! yet, do yourself a favor check out this label right away.
