You Blink And Summer Passes…

Just an update on what’s doing around here. My wife and I are expecting twins any day now so I’ve just been grindin’ in preparation for their arrival all the while working on getting some new records out.

Mind Eraser “The Prodigal Son Brings Death” 7″.
This crusher of an EP is at the pressing plant RIGHT NOW. No lie. Test presses have been mailed and hopefully we’ll get them approved this week. 10 tracks of utter brutality. An MP3 will be posted this week. Pre-orders in September.

Fired Up “Doomed To Repeat” 7″
This too is in production. Look for an MP3 this week. 7 songs of solid fast hardcore. It’s an instant classic as far as I’m concerned.

Police & Thieves “Amor y Guerra” CD
The 7″ and digital versions have been out for months now and we will finally have this CD collection in our hands by the beginning of September.

Youngblood Records Table At This Is Hardcore 2008
Our good friend Colby from The Champion Ship venue in Lemoyne, PA will be covering for us and manning the Youngblood table this year. I’d love to be there but the twins are due literally any day now. My hope is to make it out to at least one day of the fest. Regardless, swing by the table and say hi. We’re very excited to take part for our third year so thanks to Joe Hardcore for patiently holding a spot for us. This Is Hardcore is always a great time!

I hope this answers some questions. This Fall will be a busy and productive time for the label with new releases and upcoming records to announce! Thanks for reading.

Thanks

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the Youngblood showcase such a blast this year. All of the bands were great and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Special thanks go out to WORN THIN for jumping up and busting out four songs.

The showcase gets better and better with every year. We’ll be doing it again in 2009!

It’s Good To Be Back

Well, we never went anywhere but it has been over a year since we’ve had any brand new releases. We’re stoked to kick off our next slew of five awesome releases with Coptic Times and Police & Thieves.

Bane added to the showcase

We said that there would possibly be some surprises for the Youngblood 2008 Showcase, well this one is a surprise even to us: a few days ago Champion Ship got a call from Bane asking about a show on May 3rd. Champion Ship informed them that there was a fully-booked show that day. Long story short: after some discussion Bane agreed to work with us so that we could keep the door price exactly the same. So now Bane will be playing the showcase!

So now the line up is 110% full and ready to go. We might have one (or two) possible surprises up our sleeves for the show which you’ll just have to show up to and see for yourself.

Click here for will-call tickets. Don’t sleep.
